Luz finds a Deadwardian time pool and thus, while Lilith is somewhat concerned about the dangers of time travel, she and Luz decide to dive in. To confirm the story Eda produces the horn fragment from her hair, causing King to remember his true past as he holds it. With his former life revealed to be a lie, King flees in shock into the jungle, forcing the party to split up and find him. Fortunately, Luz finds and consoles him and encourages the gang to return to the palace as it may hold more clues on his true origins. Unfortunately, the curse took hold, leaving Lilith devastated, but ironically giving her exactly what she wanted. Once Eda and Lilith finally make it to the Bloom of Eternal Youth, Eda pushes Lilith and grabs the flower for herself. However, the flower soon vanishes, and the two sisters realize they just walked into a trap. The monster then shows up, revealing himself to be the merchant from earlier. Luz thoroughly wants to rescue Eda, while Eda tells Luz to leave the Boiling Isles and the Demon Realm as a whole, to protect Luz. When Eda discovers this, Lilith calls her aged and weak because of her curse, so Eda obtains a map to look for the Bloom and prove her wrong. The two of them race each other to the Bloom only to find that it was a trap by the merchant who gave Eda the map. However, they beat him up with little effort, and in the aftermath, Lilith tries to smooth things over by extending another offer to her to join the Emperor's Coven, which Eda politely refuses. As Eda leaves, the merchant offers to bond with Lilith which she refuses in disgust. In the past, Lilith and her younger sister Eda were exceptionally close, with Lilith being willing to share injuries with her sister and, as described by Eda, being her only friend before they met Raine. While Lilith's more straight-laced personality would clash with Eda's mischievous one, the two would participate in many activities together, such as playing grudgby, and they shared a dream of joining the Emperor's Coven.
Warden Wrath shows up, but when he's about to lock Luz and King up, Luz's glyph spells immediately blow up and she manages to defeat all the guards, including Warden Wrath.
